Bigger Breasts Will Not Make Him Stay
A real story about what one woman changed after her husband's affair, and why it broke my heart.
Sarah's husband had an affair. The woman he chose had larger breasts. So Sarah booked surgery to enlarge her own.
This is a real story. I am sharing it because I want to offer a different perspective on how someone responds to an affair. I will not share their real names. Her name is Sarah, and her husband's name is Don.
Sarah and Don had been married for more than 15 years, and they have a young daughter who is 12 years old.
Sarah is a hard worker who earns a good income and constantly develops herself within her company, always trying to give her family the best life. Don is more of a relaxed person who doesn't have much ambition. Although they work at the same company, Sarah has been promoted twice due to her hard work, while her husband has stayed at the same level.
Since the day Sarah married into Don's family, his family has not been kind to her. No matter what Don's mother and siblings complained about, Sarah always tried to improve herself, even when the complaints were sometimes unreasonable.
Now you know Sarah's personality. She constantly seeks to improve herself, not others. We see many people in this world who wait for others to change or improve before they feel they can have what they want. Sarah was never that person.
Despite all the effort Sarah put into the family, raising their daughter and building a life that was largely organised by her, Don still had an affair. A few weeks after they decided to divorce, they were still living under the same roof while they worked out how to sell the house, and Don had already begun dating his new girlfriend publicly.
One day, Sarah told me she was having surgery to enlarge her breasts. She also began arranging activities she had never done before. What happened to Sarah? With all these new changes, was she becoming a new person after the divorce?
